Last Friday, 2nd and 3rd of Primary students visited the cave art center of Tito Bustillo. They showed great interest in the history of the cave, in relation to its discovery 50 years ago, and with what is known about the ancient inhabitants of the cave during prehistory. They learned many things about the tools they used to sew, hunt or fish; how they harvested, how they lived and how they made the paintings in the caves (from the pigments they used to color, to the techniques used), to the “lanterns” they used to see in the dark. The children learned and enjoyed it a lot! After that, they had lunch at a nearby recreational area.
