26th October 18
More than 800 schools and educational centers throughout Spain have participated the 26th of October in the fourth edition of La Vuelta al Cole de Unoentrecienmil, to raise funds and promote research into childhood leukemia with a new research grant from the foundation. And our school has joined this solidarity movement, which has involved 213 students from 5th and 6th of Primary and 1st and 2nd of ESO and 22 teachers, in an exciting day for all.
This charity race is the largest movement of schools united in favor of the investigation of childhood leukemia and has been a resounding success in the first three editions. This edition has presented a record number of participating centers, exceeding 300,000 people.
This initiative integrates values such as awareness, commitment, effort, solidarity, fellowship, struggle, sacrifice, improvement and team spirit (values that we work at school throughout the school year), in a sports day whose goal is to finish with childhood leukemia.
