Visiting the Archaeological Museum of Asturias

24th March 15

On 11th of March 2º of ESO students visited the Archaeological Museum of Asturias, in Oviedo. They saw the Prehistory, Celtic and Roman Empire sections and they were shown elephant bones and 3000-year-old carved stones. They could touch Sidrón Cave’s pieces and remains of Neanderthal skeletons too. Then students could observe Celtic jewellery and Roman coins.

After that they walked round the old city, the Fontán market and the cathedral. A very interesting trip!
