The students from Year 5 have been working on the different systems that make up the human body.
As a consolidation activity they came up with the idea of making real-sized models of the four systems studied in Unit 1: the digestive system, the respiratory system, the urinary system and the circulatory system.
They traced their own silhouettes on construction paper and then used materials such as wool, plasticine, cardboard, wire and even a scarf to make the different organs that make up each system.
They all had a great time working in teams and learning about how their own bodies work. The results, as you can see, were great!
